Welcome to the Nanyang International Music Competition 2022, Chinese Ensemble and Orchestra Division.

Since the beginning of 2020, we have had to continuously innovate to conquer the challenges brought on by the pandemic. As a competition, the performance and adjudication of NIMC 2021 was presented entirely online. This allowed for the competition to continue and for participants of all nationalities and cultures to come forth to present their craft and share their love. What surprised us was the overwhelming response, eagerness and adaptability of the participants; resulting in over 700 participants from all over the world, adding to the vibrancy of the competition!

This year, the competition will continue to be presented in an online format. We invite Chinese Ensembles and Orchestras to join us to showcase their collaborative strength and spirit; through the process, bring their artistry to greater heights. More importantly, we hope that through this platform, encourage greater sharing of culture and support the development of musicians of the future generation.
